The Hoesch steel sheet piles have been manufactured since 1902 and are still used worldwide today, especially in canal and harbor construction.
The modern continuation of our traditions
In 2017, the KOHE and Jinxi Iron & Steel corporate groups decided to continue the tradition of HOESCH sheet piles and jointly built a modern rolling mill to produce steel sheet piles, which went into operation in 2019.
In the same year, the joint venture Hoesch Spundwand und Projekte GmbH (HSP) was founded at the site of the German company KOHE Industrieanlagen GmbH in Dillingen/Saar as an international technical sales arm for sheet pile wall systems.
In 2020, the technical sales office opened in Duisburg, near the largest inland port in the world, which is also considered the most important traffic hub for German inland shipping.
As the standard and quality of steel sheet pile walls have steadily increased over the years with the requirements of construction practice, we now produce state-of-the-art sheet piles that are lighter and at the same time more resistant than those in the past. The production of our sheet piles is based on German engineering and know-how, which was transferred to our state-of-the-art plant in China according to German occupational safety and quality standards.
With an annual production capacity of 800.000 tons of sheet piles and storage areas in Europe and Asia, we provide our products and services in cooperation with competent partners with in-house services worldwide.

Hoesch Spundwand und Projekte GmbH (HSP) is part of the Hebei Jinxi Iron & Steel Group with its brand Hoesch Spundwand. Our Chinese parent company, with its nine steel and rolling mills, specializes in high-quality construction steel and is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Hebei Jinxi Iron and Steel Group, headquartered in Beijing, was founded in 1986. The group includes nine steel and rolling mills for structural steel such as H-beams and special profiles such as hot-rolled sheet piles and other special beams.
As a company of China Oriental Group Holding, Hebei Jinxi Iron and Steel Group has been trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 2017. Since 2018, it has been one of the 500 largest Chinese (private) companies.
In 2016, KOHE Industry Group was founded by the German company KOCH H&K, with headquarters in Shanghai. The company’s main activities are planning, design, E&A as well as the production and supply of machines and plants for steel and rolling mill technology. The KOHE Industry Group also stands for tailor-made solutions, new products/constructions and the refurbishment/upgrading of existing plants and machines.
As an offshoot of the KOHE Industry Group, KOHE Industrieanlagen GmbH was founded in 2017 in Dillingen/Saar, Germany, near the border with Luxembourg and France. The company supports the metallurgical industry with cutting-edge technology and engineering. In the same year, the joint venture KOHE SP Technology, based in Shanghai, was launched. This joint venture took over the technical planning of our new sheet pile rolling mill and the development of the various profiles. Today, the corporate focus is on the development of new special profiles and their calibration for the rolling process, as well as on the development and delivery of the necessary machines and systems.
In 2019, Hoesch Spundwand und Projekte GmbH (HSP) was founded in Germany with a headquarter in Dillingen/Saar, near the border with Luxembourg and France, as the international sales arm of Hebei Jinxi Iron and Steel Group. In 2020, the sales office opened in Duisburg, near the largest inland port in the world.
