Donation to the children's and youth hospice service of the Malteser Hospizzentrum St. Raphael, Duisburg
Our #Hoesch Spundwand und Projekte Santa Claus had a visit to the children’s and youth hospice service of the Maltese Hospice Centre St. Raphael in Duisburg. In his sack, he also had a small donation of money in addition to delicious snacks
This is intended to support the great and extremely important, and indispensable work of the hospice team. The staff of the hospice accompany and strengthen families whose children suffer from a progressive and life-shortening illness. With the best possible palliative and psychosocial care, we try to help maintain the quality of life for sick children, their families, and friends.
As a company, we wanted to dispense with the printing and shipping of Christmas cards and donate the saved amount to a non-profit organization.

KOHE SP Technology: Participation in new European standard for sheet piles

KOHE SP Technology, which was responsible for the technical planning of our sheet pile rolling mill and the calibration of the various profiles, was invited in 2020 by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) to participate in the revision of the European standard for hot rolled sheet piles DIN EN 10248 as part of the Technical Committee CEN/TC 459/SC3/WG 1.
CEN is a privately run organization with the mission to promote the European economy in global trade, to ensure the well-being of citizens, and to promote environmental protection through an efficient infrastructure for the development, management, and distribution of consistent standards and specifications across Europe, accessible to all interested parties. CEN is responsible for European standards (EN) in all technical fields except electrical engineering and telecommunications.
The above-mentioned standard DIN EN 10248 regulates the quality requirements for hot-rolled sheet piles made of steel with regard to their chemical composition, their mechanical properties, and determines the delivery conditions.
