In the combined wall system, our U-shaped or Z-shaped sheet piles are used to increase the load-bearing capacity of the sheet pile wall in combination with other pile-like steel supporting elements such as pipe piles, beams, or in combination with reinforced sheet piles.

The steel piles are connected to the sheet piles by means of welded fasteners, whereby, depending on the requirements, there are countless combination variants in terms of pile lengths and geometry.
In order to achieve the optimum load-bearing capacity of the construction and to increase the stiffness of the walls, universal steel beams (I-beams) or steel pipe piles are regularly inserted into the ground as supporting piles, and the gaps are filled with Z- or U-spend piles. The steel piles or support planks transfer the load into the substrate and increase the load-bearing capacity of the entire combined wall system due to their high moment of inertia. The so-called fill planks are usually shorter than the load-bearing planks, as these, unlike the load-bearing planks, only shortly below the excavation sole, bind into the substrate.
